2024 PCA SCHOLARSHIP

The Pennsylvania Cattlemen’s Association (PCA) was established in 1978 to serve as the voice for Pennsylvania cattle producers. PCA works to serve all facets of the Pennsylvania cattle industry including cattle breeders, producers, and feeders.

To inspire and promote the next generation of cattlemen and women, PCA has created a scholarship fund in the amount of $750 that will be awarded to an outstanding undergraduate student who is pursuing a degree and/or acting as a contributing member of the beef and cattle industry.

The PCA Scholarship is open for students who plan to remain in the beef, cattle, and/or veal industry. Applicants may pursue any field of education if he or she demonstrates their plan to remain within the beef and cattle industry.

Previous scholarship winners are eligible to apply and receive the PCA scholarship up to two different times.

Deadline to submit application, essay, and letter of recommendation is January 15, 2024. Scholarships will be awarded at the PCA Annual Banquet on February 24, 2024.


2024 PCA AWARDS



PCA is proud to recognize our members who have made a positive impact upon the Pennsylvania Beef Industry through their significant contributions, and through use and implementation of programs such as animal performance evaluations, best management practices, and Beef Quality Assurance to ensure the advancement and continued success of the Pennsylvania Beef Industry.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE January 15, 2024.

Any individual, group, or organization is eligible to nominate one individual/farm who is a member of the Pennsylvania Cattlemen’s Association. Individuals and families may not nominate themselves.

Awards & Scholarships will be announced at the PCA Annual Meeting on February 24, 2024 at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, PA. Award recipients will be notified before the event and receive free dinner ticket(s). Award recipients will also have an article written about them for the Keystone Cattlemen Magazine
